After the Windows 10 Creator's Update, Final Fantasy XIV has become completely unplayable on my system. I can't roll back drivers, I've done a factory reset, removed my graphics card and updated it, re-installed the game, adjusted all the settings and this still happens. I'm also not the only person this is happening to: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/324995-Fatal-DirectX-Error-11000002 as seen on the Square-Enix forums.

Feb 5, 2017 - Does anyone know a way to make it so that you can play offline with bots, its been a few years since I have played this but I dont think that it is. Call of duty modern warfare 2 bots.
From my dxdiag if it helps at all, but I'm at my wits' end at this point. I'm pretty sure it's a client problem for ffxiv at this point, but I'd still like to find some assistance at all.
What is an audio bus. **Post has been moved by the moderator to the appropriate category**
Ok, I'm not sure if this is where I should post this or not, but i'm gonna do a copy pasta of another post I've done. I'm also going to link that post with all responses and another.
At first I thought it was just FFXIV freezing my computer, so I went for IT help there.
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/369733-Computer-freezing-during-gameplay
I then went and downloaded other games to, well test a theory. Theory success and it's not just that game. so I went to CNET while falling asleep thinking it was Tom's Hardware (sorry I feel bad for that one, mis-clicked somewhere) Went through a bunch of troubleshooting stuff and still havn't found a fix as shown below.

For about a year now I have been dealing with my computer freezing at random times, but at this time it is only during playing games other than one time. The one time was after a fresh format and windows re-install and I was re-installing a game via a launcher. Other than the freezes being during gameplay there is no ryme nor reason. All times are random.
So far I have tried everything I have found online that would remotely resemble my issue and nothing as worked. From making sure that my power settings are correct, CPU running 100%, fan systems running 100%, temp monitoring, stress tests (never froze during any stress tests), and bios settings for c-whatever it was. As stated above I have also re-installed windows. I did a clean boot of one of the games it freezes on (making sure absolutely nothing else is running) and it still froze.
By freezing, I mean although my keyboard will light up when i press buttons as I have it programed to do, nothing is responsive, no mouse input, no keyboard input, tried ctrl, alt, dlt. tried windows key, ctrl, shift, b as well with no results. I have also tried playing those games at the lowest graphic settings possible.
I have replaced every piece of hardware on my computer, I now have a set of perfectly working hardware sitting in the corner minus cpu cooling system (I accidentally stepped on it and broke it)
all drivers are up to date. and as of the speccy linked below, I have now turned my firewall back on because, whoops, forgot to turn it back on after testing.
http://speccy.piriform.com/results/m3CCCngplg8GqU0KP7J4ynz
The only thing I can think of is it must be a setting or coding issue in windows 10 that I havn't found.
I don't have TV, and netflix gets old after a while, Please help I want to play my games! I already know this will be a long discussion and please don't take offense if I reply relatively quickly saying i've already tried something.

How to Enable or Disable Fullscreen Optimizations for Apps and Games in Windows 10
Windows 10 introduced a new feature called fullscreen optimizations that is enabled by default. Fullscreen optimizations may lead to better gaming and app performance when they are running in fullscreen mode. However, some people have reported that fullscreen optimizations doesn't always improve gaming and app performance.
This tutorial will show different ways to enable and disable fullscreen optimizations for apps and games for your account or all users in Windows 10.
- Option One: Enable or Disable Fullscreen Optimizations for Current User in Advanced Graphics Settings
- Option Two: Enable or Disable Fullscreen Optimizations for Current User in Game Bar Settings
- Option Three: Enable or Disable Fullscreen Optimizations for Current User using a REG file
- Option Four: Enable or Disable Fullscreen Optimizations for Specific Apps for Current User in Compatibility Settings
- Option Five: Enable or Disable Fullscreen Optimizations for Specific Apps for All Users in Compatibility Settings
Enable or Disable Fullscreen Optimizations for Current User in Advanced Graphics Settings
This option is only available starting with Windows 10 build 17093. This option is no longer available starting with at least Windows 10 build 17134.
This option is the same setting as Option Two and Option Three.
Ff14 Windows 10
1. Open Settings, and click/tap on the System icon.
2. Click/tap on Display on the left side, and click/tap on the Advanced graphics settings link on the right side. (see screenshot below)
Starting with Windows 10 build 17101, the Advanced graphics settings link will now just say Graphics Settings.
3. Check (default) or uncheck Enable fullscreen optimizations for what you want. (see screenshot below)
Disabling this fullscreen optimization setting will be applied globally for the current account.
Ffxiv Won T Launch Windows 10
4. You can now close Settings if you like.

3. You can now close Settings if you like.
Enable or Disable Fullscreen Optimizations for Current User using a REG file
This option is the same setting as Option One and Option Two.
The downloadable .reg files below will modify the DWORD in the registry key below.
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSystemGameConfigStore
GameDVR_FSEBehavior DWORD
0 = Enable
2 = Disable
1. Do step 2 (enable) or step 3 (disable) below for what you would like to do.
2. To Enable Fullscreen Optimizations for Current User
This is the default setting.
A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the .reg file below, and go to step 4 below.
